Ryan is the former Vice President of Marketing & Brand Experience at Atlanta History Center and previously worked as a designer at Son&Sons.

2016 – 2024
Atlanta History Center is a premier Southeastern museum encompassing 33 acres of gardens, historic houses, a research facility, and exhibitions. In 2016, after executing the organization’s rebrand as a member of the Son&Sons team, Ryan transitioned to Atlanta History Center as Director of Design to manage implementation of the rebrand internally, elevate design standards, and bolster new and engaging brand initiatives. In 2019, Ryan became Director Marketing & Brand Experience, absorbing responsibility for owned and paid media. In 2020, Ryan became Vice President of Marketing & Brand Experience—and recently spearheaded the redesign of the Atlanta History Center website alongside agency partners at IfThen.
Son&Sons
2014 – 2016
Upon receiving an MFA in Graphic Design from Savannah College of Art & Design in 2014, Ryan joined the Son&Sons team as a designer developing brand systems and communication campaigns for a range of clients including Coca-Cola, Sonos, Our House, Work For Good, and Midtown Alliance.
The Carter Center
2009–2013
After completing a BA in Communications & Rhetoric Studies from Oglethorpe University in 2009, Ryan worked in Educational Programs at The Carter Center, followed by a tenure in Development supporting efforts related to the Annual Fund.
