Ryan is an Atlanta-based designer and brand strategist with deep experience leading creative, marketing, and brand initiatives for mission-driven organizations.
As Director of Brand & Creative Services at Operation Homefront, I stewarded the organization’s brand strategy and visual identity across a variety of channels, ensuring clarity, consistency, and creative excellence. I managed a multidisciplinary team in support of marketing, development, and programmatic initiatives, partnering closely with stakeholders across the organization to deliver high-quality creative that advanced both mission and strategic objectives.
Operation Homefront
2024–2025
Atlanta History Center
2016 – 2024
As Vice President of Marketing & Brand Experience at Atlanta History Center, I led the organization’s brand and marketing strategy across all platforms, overseeing integrated campaigns, digital platforms and e-marketing, and the day-to-day visitor experience. This included leadership of a large, cross-functional team spanning creative, marketing, and frontline operations, as well as oversight of external agencies and partners. Through close cross-departmental collaboration, I ensured cohesive brand alignment across exhibitions, programs, and all public-facing touchpoints.
Atlanta History Center is a premier Southeastern museum encompassing 33 acres of gardens, four historic houses, a research facility, and rotating exhibitions. After leading the organization’s rebrand as an agency designer at Son&Sons, I joined the History Center as Director of Design to implement the new brand, build an in-house creative team, and advance cohesive, engaging brand initiatives—later expanding my role to oversee marketing, brand, and guest experience at the executive level.

2009–2013
After completing a BA in Communications & Rhetoric Studies from Oglethorpe University in 2009, Ryan worked in Educational Programs at The Carter Center, followed by a tenure in Development supporting efforts related to the Annual Fund.
