Wayfinding

Atlanta History Center was founded in 1926 to preserve and study Atlanta history. What began as a small, archival-focused historical society grew over the decades to encompass 33 acres of curated gardens, four historic houses, a research center, and a museum.

A comprehensive wayfinding system—including interior and exterior signage, digital screens, and a mobile app—was launched in 2020 to help visitors navigate the campus during their visit.

The digital signage and mobile wayfinding app was brought to life alongside of agency partners at Primal Screen. The permanent signage was designed by Cloud Gehshan, an environmental design agency, and produced by Capital Signs.
